United McGill Corporation was founded on November 1, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. Today, the Company is comprised of five operating subsidiaries whick specialize in the engineering, manufacturing, and field installation of many different construction and industrial products and systems, and often provides testing and follow-up services.
What is your primary product or service?
McGill AirFlow LLC is one of the country’s leading suppliers of commercial and industrial sheet metal ductwork with locations nationwide, has an extensive line of products, including round, flat oval, and rectangular ductwork and related items fabricated from either standard or antimicrobial materials.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
United McGill Corporation started as a local sheet metal contractor and fabricator.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
McGill AirFlow is dedicated to helping you meet your airflow needs. We are able to do this because we have a nationwide network of sales associates, engineers, and representatives. There is a sales engineer in your area, ready to work with you at every stage of your job, from design through startup. Our engineers can suggest ways to improve the performance and profitability of an existing commercial or industrial duct system design, or come up with a totally new design to fit your application's needs. Our engineering staff also presents duct system design seminars and publishes a series of technical bulletins and reports to keep engineers and contractors up-to-date on the latest design technology.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
